We breed horses in a small way, and enjoy seeing them grow up. From four years onwards we start riding them.
There is some stunning scenery around these Welsh mountains and valleys. You can bring your own horse and try it for yourself. We have stabling and grazing. Alternatively, ride from the farm next door. They have horses available and offer Parelli Horsemanship courses.
Ty Shon Jacob Farm
Get away from it all, relax and enjoy the views.
The farm is situated on top of the mountain above Pontypool. Blaenavon World Heritage Site is a few miles up the valley. Cardiff, the Capital of Wales, is just half an hour away. Here are plenty of places to visit and things to do.
The farm was the first golf club in Pontypool, opened by Lloyd George in 1903. It has since moved. It is now on the mountain opposite.
Can accommodate six horses and the fields are just behind.
Gardens in the Stable yard.
The stable yard garden is casual with plenty of grass and flowers. It is next door to your accommodation.
Why not relax and take in the veiw
The veranda is private to the family room, where you can see the sun set over the mountain.
